What the calculator does with your inputs
Your budget, guest count, region, style, and priority picks are processed entirely client-side, in JavaScript running in your own browser. Nothing you type into the calculator is sent to a server, logged, or stored — it exists only in your browser's memory for as long as the page is open. Refreshing the page clears it.
Downloaded images
The "Download budget as image" and "Download Pinterest image" buttons generate a PNG file directly in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API and save it to your device. No image is uploaded or transmitted anywhere.
Analytics
This site does not use cookie-based tracking or third-party advertising trackers. If basic, aggregate, no-cookie page-view analytics are added in the future (for example, to see which guides are useful), they will not collect personal data, will not use cookies, and will not track you across other websites.
Email signup
The email capture form on this site sends your email address to Buttondown, the email service provider we use to send the free small-wedding checklist and occasional related updates. Submitting the form adds you to a double opt-in list — you'll get a confirmation email before anything else is sent, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. We only collect the email address you type in; no other data is sent. Whether or not you sign up, the checklist PDF is always available immediately with no email required. Outbound links
Links to Gumroad (archienovember.gumroad.com) take you to a separate website with its own privacy policy and its own checkout process, operated by Gumroad, Inc. This site does not have access to your payment information, name, or address when you purchase a template — that transaction happens entirely on Gumroad's platform.

This site is built and maintained with the assistance of AI tools, as disclosed on the About page. That disclosure is part of this privacy commitment: content, code, and statistics on this site are checked against cited sources rather than presented as unverified claims.
